Maybe my Mother put three eggs in it and maybe your Grandma put a third spoonful of vanilla. It's still a chocolate cakes, but the recipe has been 'tweaked'. The same with magical spells - what works for one, might not apply to another's situation. I can only offer that you discern which spices or herbs have meaning for your own particular situation and use a large enough honey jar to hold everything plus the honey in as well. Good Luck! - J.
