INGREDIENTS

1 White Petition Paper

Broom Straw

1 Road Opener Sachet Powder

Blessed Salt

1 White Emergency Candle (about 4 inches long)

1 White Saucer

Make a list of your old habits and write these old habits, behaviors, and stories on the petition paper. Write your full name in a cross pattern on top of the written bad habits (like to ‘cross them’). Sprinkle the Road Opener sachet and Blessed Salt lightly over the paper and take the broom straw and  brush the mixture away from you. Take the paper and fold into a packet. Place on saucer next to candle. Light a white candle that has been cleaned with lemon juice (as you told me) and burn the candle, and state your releasing intentions and asking that the Virgin Mary (if you are a female) and/or Jesus (if you are a male) totake these things away and their temptations to do them.

When candle has burned down, take the whole thing and then cast the ashes in moving water such as a river or flowing creek and banish them to be gone forever. Turn and leave without looking back.

My soon to be ex-husband is making my life crap.   I’ve been separated for nearly 3 years and he still has a hold over my emotions!! We have a gorgeous little girl of 4 yrs. I left him due to his controlling behavior & drinking. I’ve burned umpteen bits of paper with hope of moving on to no avail. I’ve bought a black candle as last resort & I am going to get the separation agreement (copy) and write something on it in hope of him finding another love to move on and to stop him tormenting me.

You are on the right track but a bit off – like a recipe that is lacking something. First, if he is not living with you, then he cannot bother you. You must clarify something because first you say he is your soon to be ex, meaning that things are already going through the courts, then the separation papers…so I am confused on the legal matters.

The only reason why you would want to burn a black candle on the papers is to get the job DONE – so the question is: who is stalling the process? If he is controlling, and he is not living with you, how can he control you?

Let me give you two scenarios and things that you can do for the situation:

Situation Number One: (he is living with you while you are getting the divorce) - Get your own apartment. If this is not financially feasible, move in with family. You need to physically get away from him as much as possible in order for any candle spell to work.

If this is not possible – force him to move. Get a few wasps nests, some burnt charcoal, red crushed peppers, dirt from a grave and doggie doo-doo (yes, I am serious), dry it out in the sun, making sure you spend a few minutes a day with a magnifying glass focused on the mixture and curse the debil our of it and sprinkle it in his shoes, the floor board of his car or truck, in his bed (the bed you DO NOT sleep in) and wait for him to leave.  If this is just too funky for you to do, get some Run, Devil, Run Condition Oil and sprinkle it in his shoes every day when he is not using them. Burn the same oil on a red and a black glass candle with his picture wedged in between them. Spend some time every day standing in front of the candle cursing and swearing at it (as if the candles were really him); telling him to hit the road, Jack.

Use brown court case candles on top of a copy (not the original) of the Court documents. You can anoint this with a little Crown of Success Anointing Oil and sprinkle a little tobacco in around the top of the candle. Make sure you follow directions on proper cleaning and anointing of your candles.

Situation Number Two: (you are living elsewhere but the divorce is not going anywhere) – Time to put on the ‘brass brassiere” and get to work!  You must attend each and every Court proceeding and appear to want to ‘make peace’ with the other party – ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS A CHILD INVOLVED – each parent has to have some time with the child – unless you or he is selling arms to the terrorists, selling drugs or running a whorehouse – each of you are responsible for the raising of that child. So, if the Courts ask you to improve your lot in life – get a job or go to school. If he is the deadbeat, do everything you can to tie him up financially – a lien on the house (if he owns one), keep your ‘feelers’ out there to hear if he has a job and TURN HIM IN to the County agency handling the child support issues.

REMEMBER: You must take the ‘high moral ground’ and don’t play the child against the father (called Parental Alienation) – the mediators see right through that (that is why they have Master and PhD’s). They will look favorably on you if you are trying to ‘be fair’ (bite your tongue) with the other parent. You loved him at one time enough to bring a child into this world and worse case scenario, if something happens to you, HE is the one who gets custody of the child (not your Mother or Sister). He is the first line blood relative of your child.

Here’s a novel idea (hold your pants on and listen); wish him SUCCESS. Think about it. If he is successful, you always will get child support and he will be so busy working that he has no time to go to Court with you. Use a yellow candle in glass with “Crown of Success” or “Crowning Glory” Anointing Oil in it with his name on a piece of paper under the candle.

Bottom line, if you want the proceedings to move forward, burn a red glass candle on a copy of the Court papers with “FAST LUCK” Condition Oil so that things will get moving and you can then begin a new life.

Tough decisions, but ones you have to make. I wish you all the Luck.

I have  just finished a black candle spell at a grave for protection for a client. This couple was being harassed by a former female friend of the man, who had a brief relationship (read: encounter) while he was seperated from his girl. The woman clearly did not understand when the couple got back together again and has been tormenting them. It was time to put an end to it all.

Traditionally, when you go to a graveyard, it is to visit a departed friend or relative. Rootworkers, conjure and hoodoo workers go to the graveyard to petition the deceased to ‘work’ for them. This particular grave is one of an American Indian that I visit from time to time. He has quite a history.

First I cleaned his gravestone, then poured libations (rum) into a hole that I had dug at the center bottom of marker (where candle is at). I laid candies of all kinds, cookies, pennies and lit some cigars on the marker, as these are things that one enjoys when alive. The Spirits like them still, too. I then placed my petition paper in the hole, poured more rum on it, told the Spirit of the Indian what I would like him to do, then placed a black candle on top. I carefully explained that the black candle is not for the Spirit, but for the lady named on the petition paper.

These voodoo dolls are then “named” and stuffed with Spanish Moss and a few other herbs and ingredients to be effective in getting this person out of your life. These black dolls can be your for $20.00 each. Once you have ordered your poppet, you will then be asked to give a small description of the intended person and what you would like them to receive in exchange for doing damage they have done to you.

The young woman left my home and proceeded to go purchase the candles. I received a telephone call the next morning at 7:30 am. It was the young lady and she was trembling as we spoke. This is what happened to her after leaving me.

She went to the candle shop to buy the white and black candles as I had supplied her with the oils, but not the candles. She went home and started to proceed with the ritual but forgot to buy lemon juice. She told me that she decided she would call me the next day after she bought some lemon juice and have me reiterate the spell over the phone. She left the candles on her bedroom dresser.

She told me she received a call in the middle of the night from her boyfriend. He had been drinking with his buddies, drove off on his motorcycle (all predicted in my tarot card reading; specifically I told her he was to either get into a crash or a DUI arrest sometime before the upcoming holiday – just two days away from the day of her visit). He had some minor scrapes and bumps and could not go to the hospital. He was crying and telling her that realized that he was a fool for treating her in such a manner as he sat stunned on the side of the road. He was remorseful of his actions regarding her.

She told me that she he is now behaving as he should with her and he has told her he only wants to be with her. The power of candle magic worked even when a flame wasn’t put to the wick. Intention can be such a powerful force that if harnessed in the right way, as in this young womans case, the affairs of the heart and the possibility of “getting burned” again, she radiated such energy that the change began as soon as she bought her candles – despite forgetting the lemon juice!

Let me give you a recent example. A young woman come to me for a tarot card reading and some spiritual help, crying because her boyfriend announced that he was going to ‘go after this other girl who is right for me’. She receives this not long after she moves in with him – the first man she has really let her guard down since being burned by love’s flames a few years back. She told me she had never burned candles for a situation before and therefore needed a beginners candle spell. I gave her this spell:

Ingredients

She was to clean the candles with lemon juice and let dry. When she was ready, label the two white candles with her name and his name and the black candle with the other piece of paper that has a description of the other person written on it.

She was to first anoint the two white candles with Influence Oil and Stay at Home Oil, and then anoint the black candle with Southern Hot Foot Oil, which is a traditional hoodoo/conjure/root work oil that chases away someone who you don’t want around any longer. It is very strongly scented and therefore she was instructed to anoint the white candles first, clean her hands, then anoint the black candle, then wash her hands numerous times before continuing on with the spell.

She then was to set up the candles like this on a shelf with protective saucers under each one:

She was to light her candle first, his candle second, and to take a steak knife (notice a vertical line between the white & black candles) or cleaver and forcefully “chop” the air (not the table) with the knife, letting it come to rest on edge between his candle and the other woman’s candle. She was to say while “chopping” the air, “This knife separates (his name inserted here) from any desire or lust he has over this other woman.” She was to then light the black candle.

Once she lit these candles, she was to daily move his candle towards her candle in small increments, until his candle is standing right next to hers. She was to let the candles burn continuously and to visit them frequently while she was at home, addressing them in a manner such as this, ” (His name inserted here), I want you to forget about her and come back to me, (her name inserted here), because I am the one that loves you and wants to be with you forever. You can forget about that other womans now and return to me.”
