Hi Jacqueline I love your site and great spells. I was wondering what color of candle would be appropriate to light when I go on Jan 26 to do a test for dispatch operator for the police dept. and what kind of spell/oils you recommend and how soon should I start on the ritual and if the moon is in a good phase. I am also going to test this month for California life insurance agent should I use the same spell you recommend? Thank you so much. How much are your jumbo reversible candles? I am having a hard time finding black/green and black/white jumbo free standing candles in San Diego.

First, let me say congratulations on the job opportunity and your decisiveness to have an exciting and fulfilling career. You go, girl!

I would use the Crown of Success products or Crown of Glory products to bathe in, anoint with, and burn before your examination – along with some good coffee and hours hitting the books. Since time is short, you may have to do a little “wiggling and squiggling” to get your oils and such, but here is a basic “shopping list” of items to use:

(NOTE: You may use these same three candles for both potential employment situations)

1 White Glass 7 -Day Novena Candle – your full name an birth date on piece of white paper placed under this candle.

1 Yellow Glass 7-day Novena Candle – name of agency and job title on piece of white paper under this candle.

1 Red Glass 7-day Novena Candle – petition of power for achievement of goal to gain selection in this position on white piece of paper under candle.

“Crown of Success” or “Crown of Glory” Anointing Oil, Bath Crystals and Sachet Powder – to use on in candles, on body and petition papers.

HOWEVER…

if you CANNOT find these products in town, then substitute with:

For Bath Crystals: Mix Epsom Salt and Kosher Salt with Grains of Paradise (aka Guinea Pepper), Master Root (or Masterwort) (will be hard to find) and a Buckeye to carry in your pocket. My might try a Health Foods Store for these herbs.

If these things cannot be found, take lots of Epsom Salts (WalMart or Walgreens) soaks followed by a soaping and showering off negative residue.

For Candles: In the event you cannot find “Crown of Success” or “Crowning Glory” products, take some Olive Oil in a small saucer and extend your hands over it and pray to blessing and infuse your intentions into the oil. Use this oil in your candles. Remember to clean your candles following the instructions on candle cleaning in my “Proper Candle Preparation” column on the right.

For Sachet Powder: Since time is short, you may have to forgo this product.

P.S. Walgreen’s ALWAYS has red, yellow and white candles, as so some of your area supermarkets in the Latino or Hispanic Foods section. For the half green/half black and the half white/half black free standing candles – we are all hurting because the factory where these are coming out of is relocating and didn’t make enough back stock to keep us in candles. I was just talking with someone about this just yesterday! I am actually in negotiations with a candle maker who may be supplying me with a line very soon. I will keep all of you posted on the outcomes since we are in quality control right now – can’t sell faulty stuff!

What is It?

I created a ritual for New Year’s Eve night to send off in a fiery pyre all the negative things, people and thoughts that plagued my clients throughout the year. I invite you to join us for this ritual.

Releasing of old negative thoughts, hurts, jealousies, anger and problems that have plagued your thoughts and home life is purging and mood elevating, and can break free things that have been keeping you down and unable to progress forward.

How Can I Participate?

There are two ways you can participate. First, you can purchase a tea light vigil candle for $1.25 each and submit your petition for that candle. Quantity is unlimited and if you live with others, it might be a grand release of negativity for everyone in the home to have a candle and petition paper burnt for them (see photo below). The petitions will go into the “coffin” along with the black poppets, mixed with frankincense, myrrh, white sage and lavender, to become a burnt offering to the Heavens (see more photos at link below)

The second way to participate is to purchase a black “doll baby” or “poppet” and name it for someone who is giving you the Devil or you would just want them to Go Away and Stay Away. These voodoo dolls are then “named” and stuffed with Spanish Moss and a few other herbs and ingredients to be effective in getting this person out of your life. These black dolls can be your for $20.00 each. Once you have ordered your poppet, you will then be asked to give a small description of the intended person and what you would like them to receive in exchange for doing damage they have done to you.

This site is intended to share the candle burning beliefs of many from around the world. Candles were burned for many reasons, some of them identical, but all around the world and in many cultures.  The presence of flame in even the simplest moments, such as a birthday party, gives significance to the occasion.  What are birthday candles but wishes attached to a flame, that are blown out when the time is right?

Uneducated is the person who reacts out of fear that there are evil intentions here - there are plenty of belief systems that wish ill will to those who have hurt them – and just because they want to create havoc!  For example, I have even used a few choice words when I was plowed into by two illegals with no license and registration!  Now tell me, wouldn’t YOU?  Was not those choice words symbolic of a release of energy and could be taken as a “curse”?  Think about it.

Candle burning has gone back since the beginning of mankind – the mystery of a flame has been a source of study and veneration for lifetimes.  If it wasn’t for flame, civilization might not have survived.  So, because its’ orogins is veiled in mystery, of course it could be attached to any serious event.  The Bible and many other books written on the spiritual realm all talk about using “sacred flame” or “burnt offerings” in their texts.

If, dear reader, you read something contained within this site, realize that I do not censor the intentions of the offerings – you are a well educated and knowledgable person who is not influenced by what you read.  It is your free will choice to participate and read these posts. Use a logical mind and understand that while you may not use a particular candle spell – there may be others who need that exact one.  More importantly, examine your own belief system that might be the root of the consternation you feel when you make judgment calls in regards to others’ freedom to choose.

Maybe the biggest fear to fear is the fear in itself.

Once I had invested another 30 minutes in giving her ethical spiritual counseling with tips and techniques with success with a black candle burn for her neighbors, this person tells me that she does not have a functional toilet in which to dispose of the black candle. She tells me that when she needs to use the toilet, she goes to he local gas station.

Whaaaattttt?

Right there, that tells me that this person does not have their priorities in check. Having 19 dogs, well I can justify that she does own 10 acres and that would seem big enough for them to roam, despite the amount that she puts out every month for care and food for the animals. To not have a functioning bathroom in which you can eliminate waste gives me the impression that her life is “going to the dogs”. I asked her why would she spend money to call me to ask for candle work and supplies when she should be taking care of her home. She responded that she “knows but she has to get the four dilapidated vehicles off her property before the end of the month.” Even more evidence of not only a negative magnet for more problems and her money is going down. If you are even a dabbler in Feng Shui, you know that clutter and broken things like appliances and old clothing, boxes and such give energy to negativity and thus needs to be removed either by donating the items that can be repaired to a charity, having things taken to the dump, and a big recycling effort to get rid of any old newspapers, boxes and stuff that sits and collects dust.

I told her that once she has done that, give the whole house a good cleaning and the void produced by getting rid of old things, along with a good housecleaning, should give her a brighter outlook on life, get her priorities in line and maybe get the neighbors off her back.

I told her then and only then would I consider doing candle work for her. Why burn candles for prosperity if you can’t take care of yourself? You are asking the Universe to give you money so that you could quite possibility “throw it to the dogs” some more. Basic human living conditions are far more important in my world than pets, regardless of the loving devotion they give you. It is unfortunate that in this same week, we have a story in our area about someone who had a house overran with cats. I am a cat person myself, but with my busy schedule and traveling, I couldn’t give enough time to my pet to make his life a quality one with my schedule. This is why I choose with consciousness, not to own a pet.

The first signs of the appearance of negativity is an uneasy feeling that something is “wrong” or just “not right”. If you are an intuitive person or a sensitive, you can almost “feel” negativity like fog, enveloping and bearing down on you. Whether this is emanating from a person or is in a room or house, it is the feeling that makes your hair on your arms or the back of your neck “crawl” or can even make you feel like just breaking down and having a good, long cry right there. The person “affected” by negativity, is depressed and wears a scowl or appears teary eyed. Their appearance might not be as tidy as it would be if they were in a positive mood and there would be barely a hint of energy or happiness in their demeanor.

There are various forms of “cleaning” or “cleansing” a home, building or apartment of negativity. Some are known by culture, some are Universal. I will list various tips to use to clean a place of negativity.

One you have effectively cleaned the house, light some incense pleasing to the senses like lotus, rose or any blessing or spiritual brand incense. then begin the cleansing of negativity on yourself.

Ingredients

Clean your white candle with lemon juice or alcohol, let completely dry. Write your full name on piece of paper. Turn the paper 180 degrees (upside down) and then write the other person’s full name or the date of the event. Each name should line up under each other, but require turning paper upside down to read each name.

Place paper in a small dish or saucer. Put the Olive Oil in a small saucer and extend your hands over it, praying that it be blessed. Pour a small amount into the top of the candle, set candle on paper inside saucer. Circle the candle with tobacco with a clockwise motion of the hand, to banish and release. Light candle and pray Psalm 23 (“The Lord is my Shepherd”). Let candle burn continuously until out.

When candle is done, take candle out of saucer, fold tobacco inside the paper and carry it with a lighter to the gutter drain nearest your house. Light the paper, making sure you get a good burn. Drop lighted paper into drain (or what is left of it) and return home without looking back.

Clean your house thoroughly with a pine cleaner or lemon essence cleaner. Throw open the windows and light white sage to smudge the whole house. Sprinkle epsom salts on the floors, let set and sweep or vacuum up, disposing of the vacuum bag immediately at the front door. Sweep everything towards the front door. Wipe down home and floors from fartherst point of home towards front door.

I found some of these candles in one of our area drugstores, Long’s Drugs! Now I know where to send clients when they want to get a black candle in a hurry!

Ingredients

1 small free-standing Black Candle (not encased in glass)

1 handful of Salt

1 piece of white paper

1 ceramic or glass dish, container or jar (that you will be disposing of at end of candle burn). Small jelly or honey jars, pickle or olive jars work best (make sure they are clean and dry).

1 White 7-day glass Novena Candle

Ice (enough for all the drains in the house)

This spell is for when the home feels like there is negativity in it or if you have had a really bad fight or argument and you want to banish the energy and get on with the day.

Clean candles with alcohol or lemon juice; let dry. Take the piece of paper and write a banishing incantation on it (i.e. “Energy of our last argument, be gone and leave this premises” or “Ill will and negativity leave this home, be carried by the wind to the Heavens and never to return”).

Put the paper in the ceramic or glass container. Sprinkle it liberally with salt. Place black free-standing candle upright in the container. Tell the salt to heed what you have written on the paper. Tell the salt to carry away the negativity. Place container on front step. Sprinkle additional salt across the doorstep. dividing the space between you and the candle like this:

Light candle and again state your intentions. Close your door, letting candle burn on porch or doorstep until out. Do not relight candle if it blows out; the work is done.

Take all the ice you have in the home and equally fill each drain in the sinks and tubs with ice, letting it melt slowly to calm the area.

Anoint the white candle with any of the benevolent oils (Blessing, Peace, Joy, Healing Condition Oils) or a teaspoon of Olive Oil that you have prayed over it for peace and happiness. Let it burn until candle is finished. Do not blow white candle out.

When black candle has gone out, carry whole container to nearest gutter drain and dump the contents of the ceramic dish into drain (wax, paper and salt). Take glass container and place it into the recycling or garbage can outside your home. Keep salt line on your porch overnight; washing it away with a weak solution of Pine Sol or Chinese Wash and water, using a broom meant for outdoor use only to brush the solution as far towards the street as you can. Rinse off broom with garden hose and stand it upright in the corner of the porch to dry overnight.

While the majority of uses for black candles is to cross someone or wish them ill will, the use of the black candle is to draw the negativity towards it, to burn it out and send it heavenward. The theory of “like attracts like”, meaning the dark negative energy will adhere to the dark candle is the intention here. the use of salt speaks of centuries of tradition that “salt will do what you tell it to do”; in this case, not only to absorb the negativity (salt in jar) but to also mark a line where the negativity cannot cross back into the home (salt line on porch). The use of Pine Sol (pine being Native American based) or Chinese Wash (African or Asian based) is traditional in clearing away negativity and bringing in good luck.

Ingredients

Put two tablespoons of DOUBLE STRENGTH UNCROSSING BATH and one tablespoonful of SALTPETER into your bath water while the water is running, make your wish and repeat the Prayer ” O Lord, banish from us this day and for ever, all evil from our heart, soul, and body.” After your bath, anoint the palms of your hands and the bottoms of your feet with UNCROSSING OIL.

On a piece of parchment paper write your name 9 times and place it under a DOUBLE STRENGTH UNCROSSING CANDLE. Place a bowl of water in which you have put 3 drops of OIL OF ROSEMARY between the UNCROSSING CANDLE and your ZODIAC CANDLE. Light both candles and let them burn continuously until the crossed condition is removed. Each morning burn DOUBLE STRENGTH JOHN THE CONQUEROR INCENSE with the candles and read the Prayer to Cast Out Evil or the 69th psalm.

A crossed condition has been blamed by many as the source of their bad luck. It is when everything seems to go from bad to worse or when a stumbling block is put up in the path to friends, money, success, love, and good luck. It also manifests when results from other spiritual work are hard to obtain or when enemies and evil doers have used something to change all good luck to bad luck. Many, when feeling the weight of this evil work being done by others, use the following set-up to remove a crossed condition.

Preparation of the Uncrossing Bag

To prepare an uncrossing bag, first write your name 9 times on the back of SEAL # 35 from the 6th and 7th Book of Moses. Place this seal along with a dressed KING SOLOMON ROOT and some UNCROSSING POWDER in a RED FLANNEL BAG. Dress the bag every 3 days with DOUBLE STRENGTH UNCROSSING OIL. This bag should be carried with you at all times. At least once a day hold the bag in your left hand and make your wish to remove all evil and crossed conditions. In cases where you want to remove and return the evil back to whoever is causing it, use the DOUBLE STRENGTH GO DEVIL CANDLE in place of the Uncrossing Candle. Write ” Send Back All Evil ” 9 times on a piece of parchment paper, place it under the candle and read the Prayer to Cast Out Evil or Psalm 109 each day.
